Last year in December I wrote a blog post about my five favorite photographs I took that year, and why they were my favorite. This year I thought it would be interesting to do this again, but to see what other photographers thought their five favorites would be.

So, here’s an open challenge to any photographer that wants to participate. Select the five (no more, no less) photographs you would consider your favorite, and a brief explanation of why. You can define ‘favorite’ how ever you’d like, but you have to explain in your post why you selected each photo.

When you have your post written, send me the link (g@gxuimages.com) and I’ll include it in my blog post. I can then send you a small piece of code you can embed in your post so we can all have a running list of everyone’s favorite five.
